Charles Insurance opened in September 1997. From a humble start we have grown from strength to strength, having acquired: Cathays Insurance Services, (Cardiff Company), Insurance Services Wales Ltd, ( Rhondda Company) and C K Insurance Services Ltd (Gwent Company). Along with growth, we pride ourselves on being independent and impartial. Our book of business reflects this since it is spread evenly across many underwriting companies, such as Norwich Union, Allianz Cornhill, Royal Sun Alliance, NIG, Fortis and many others. We also access Lloyds of London. Customer satisfaction is
paramount so great emphasis is placed on an efficient yet
friendly service, combined with highly skilled staff. We appreciate
insurance can be deemed an intangible product, becoming tangible,
at a time of a claim, so this is where we will be judged.
Charles Insurance Claims Department is first Class. It is company
policy, that staff, are only allowed to work in this department
if they have over five years insurance experience. We believe
this is why our customer retention is around 93%.
Our Main office has always been in Penarth, primarily due to the fact that it is only five minutes drive from Cardiff. We are within one hour drive from Bristol, West and Mid Wales. We adopt a perso 0.nal approach, so our representative(s) are always available to visit, upon your request. Director Mark F Charles (BA Hons) has been
working in insurance for over twenty years, sitting Chartered
Insurance Institute Exams. He managed a brokerage at the tender
age of 24 and was a senior underwriter for two major insurance
companies. |
